The Making Money Easier website has been created by ARC and United Response with the help of a grant from Friends Provident Foundation.

ARC is a membership association which brings together those who provide services for people with a learning disability. ARC has been involved in a number of pieces of work relating to financial inclusion for people with a learning disability, including research about banking, training for staff supporting people with a learning disability and guidance to the CSCI on best practice in looking after people's money.  In Scotland ARC has been working with Enable to help people understand more about Money.

United Response is a national charity set up in 1973 providing support for over 1500 people with learning disabilities or mental health needs – including some of the most vulnerable people in our society. We support people to live where they choose and to live as independent a life as possible, connected to their local community.  United Response have developed a particular expertise in accessible communication and train our staff to understand each person’s way of communicating so that we can build our care and support around their own choices, wants and aspirations. We develop tools to meet these needs and to support people to get involved in all areas of their lives and to live as independently as possible.

The pictures in Making Money Easier have been drawn by Chris Perfect.  Putting it all together was done under the guidance of Andrew Popkiewicz.
